The Alliance for Electric School Buses is committed to an equitable transition to a clean ride for kids. We see this transition as an opportunity to improve job quality and create new careers for workers.
Members of the coalition who work on workforce policies are calling for decision makers and communities to ensure that this transition promotes high-paying jobs with family-sustaining benefits and safe, inclusive workplaces that provide career opportunities for displaced workers and low-income communities, people of color, and other communities underrepresented in manufacturing.
