About the Clean School Bus Program
The EPA's Clean School Bus Program is a historic $500 billion opportunity to replace polluting diesel buses with zero-tailpipe-emission electric school buses for the next 5 years. The first round of funding is now available. From May 20 through August 19, eligible applicants can apply to receive funding to cover up to 100% of the cost of up to 25 electric school buses and their charging stations. Priority will given to school districts serving low-income, rural and Tribal communities.
